Enriching Chesapeake Through the Arts

ballerinaSince 1968, the Chesapeake Fine Arts Commission (CFAC) has served as the united voice for the arts community by educating the public about the value and significance of music, architecture, drama, dance, painting, and sculpture. Through financial assistance to individuals, organizations, schools, and corporations, the CFAC enriches both the personal lives of residents and the local economy. The CFAC sponsors a large variety of programs and brings productions by the Virginia Symphony, Virginia Opera, and Young Audiences of Virginia to area schools annually.
